Ten cities spread across 7 federal states (out of a total of 16 federal states) have been selected as venues for the tournament. Apart from Munich (67,000 seats) and Berlin (70,000 seats), the cities include Cologne (47,000 seats), Dortmund (66,000 seats), Dusseldorf (47,000 seats), Frankfurt (48,000 seats), Gelsenkirchen (50,000 seats), Hamburg (50,000 seats), Leipzig (42,000 seats), and Stuttgart (54,000 seats).

It will only be revealed shortly before the tournament which players will participate in the European Cup. On one hand, their teams must qualify, and on the other hand, the players themselves must be free from injuries. Of course, superstars like Messi from Argentina or Neymar from Brazil cannot participate in the tournament because their national teams are not part of the European Football Association. The good news for fans is that the 2024 European Cup will be broadcast globally on television.

Shortly after the European Cup ends, the Olympics will open in Paris on July 26. The Olympics will conclude on August 11. The 12-day Paralympics will follow on August 28 in Paris—distinct from the World Special Olympics being held in Berlin.
